About Us
The Sangit Sushama was founded in 1983 by Minati Helbig and has been based in Heidelberg's old town ever since. It was taught by and inspired by the Indian meditation teacher Sri Chinmoy. Initially, instruments from all over the world were sold, later she supplemented the sale of instruments with flute lessons. Over the years, the team has grown to five teachers. In the music studio Sangit Sushama we have been teaching guitar, ukulele, piano, violin and harmonium lessons since 2006. We have been at Plöck 85 since January 2014 and have concentrated on music lessons. Our sales range includes instruments that we also teach: guitar, violin, ukulele & Indian harmonium.
Translated, Sangit Sushama means "The Beauty of Music".
